Zoomin Toobin
An article I used for the birthing persons post mentioned Toobin again. It’s been what, over a year now? Well, never gets old, and the people reporting, from all angles, have missed a critical detail.
If you don’t know who Jeffrey Toobin is, look him up. Former gubmint lawyer turned writer for the New Yorker and CNN’s chief legal analyst. Greasy as they come. In October 2020 he left his camera on during a zoom call with coworkers and some radio station staffers and started jacking off. Oops. He was promptly fired by the New Yorker and “asked for some time off” from CNN. He’s since returned to CNN.
Here’s the detail no one has caught: he didn’t just pull up The Hub and start watching BBW videos, he was jacking off to a person on that call. He was watching a coworker he fantasizes about banging, or a radio station staffer he just met and couldn’t save it to the spank bank and load it later. He was jacking off to a person on that call, in real time, and has probably been doing that on every call.
Imagine being that person, if they knew it was them? Maybe they’d reciprocate, maybe they’d be flattered, but if they felt violated? How could they not fire him? Now, imagine being a coworker at CNN, having to take a zoom call and suddenly his camera goes off. Is it not at the least distracting knowing that he could be jacking off to you?
